Visible Day and Night
The white plastic cross gives you a voice as a Christian and strengthens our visible presence in the modern world. Profits from sales will go back to the neighborhoods or countries purchasing crosses.
We are all missionaries and have the opportunity to reach out to our friends and neighbors next door and around the world. Love your neighbor as yourself.
Please e-mail pictures to email@example.com (we're starting a page). You can show off where you placed your cross: in your yard, on a hill, at your church, a whole neighborhood! You can donate crosses to missionaries, send to disaster areas, use for fundraisers. These are some of the ideas we've heard, send us yours. We'd love to hear from you.
We as Christians have a chance to be Christ's voice and hands in the world today. I've had a cross shinning brightly in my front yard for over a year. People know where I live and what I believe in. God, my family, friends and country are what I fight for.
Send us your comments and have a blessed day.
Who and what this is about...
My name is Kathy Keithley and I live on a country road in east Texas. I was looking into solar energy for our home in the midst of a couple of health issues, cancer and a brain tumor (from which I am fully recovered), when I deceided to buy a solar cross for my front yard. At that time my mother and grandson were living with us and my husband and I were both trying to work. Life can get very difficult! It wasn't bad though, I had more to live for! My family and friends were there for me and my faith just got stronger.
Several of my childhood years were spent with my family living in my grandparents home to help them and everyone worked together, sharing holidays, joys and pains. All my life I've known people who went to different churches, but believed the same way about Jesus Christ.
"This Little Light of Mine" let it shine...let it shine... The song so many of us learned as children seems to fade as we grow older. I beleive it's time to power it up with the technology God has allowed us to connect with the sun which He created.
I started giving crosses instead of flowers and thought how great it would be to see them glowing in yards or on hills across the country and anywhere in the world that needs a sign of hope and change. My parents were veterans; and I proudly fly an American flag to honor them and all who have served their country. Jesus is my hero and I proudly display a cross. A solar cross has been in my front yard for over a year and no one has bothered it, but many have asked about it. I think we can bring back family values and respect for each other one cross at a time. Christianity is based on faith, love and sacrifice. The more you give the more you receive.
